We are an Irish-owned business based in Dublin’s city centre. We have been supplying home users, businesses and schools with a broad range of printers, ink cartridges, photographic paper, toner cartridges, ink ribbons and label tapes from our shop at 34a Wexford Street, D2 since 2006.

We offer an easy comparison of genuine original to compatible replacements:

1. We hold stock of and sell both types of cartridges. We provide a side-by-side comparison for all OEM cartridges with compatible replacements, when available, allowing you an easy view of the available cost savings and other relevant information.

2. The positive attributes of genuine original (also known as OEM and Branded) cartridges are that they will perform very well when used appropriately and they have an extremely low failure rate. The negative is that OEM cartridges are without exception expensive (see “About operating costs” section below).

3. The positive attribute of compatible replacement cartridges is their availability at much lower cost, without quality compromises. At Inkplus our cartridgexperts make sure to only select top quality product for sale online that will perform very well when used appropriately. We work closely with our compatible brands ActiveJet, JetTec and Xinia in additional to selling our cartridge expert select range of cartridges.

3. To find the correct supplies for your printer or any particular printer cartridge, please use our smart quick search facilities. Go to the supplies WIZARD on our homepage and either type printer reference in the “Search supplies by printer” panel or type cartridge reference in the “Search supplies by number” panel, then click on the dropdown that matches your search query and the required items will display. You will get details of any compatible replacements that are available for your selection.

Yes, we supply printers:

1. We sell Brother, Epson, HP and Samsung printers.

2. Sorry, we haven’t had the time to get them online………..one day!

3. If you tell us your choice of printer model/s, we will give you the best advice and quote you a competitive price for any printer you consider purchasing or we will suggest an alternative machine if we think the operating costs too expensive or there is a better specified machine available within your price range that offers more economical running costs.

About operating costs:

1. The initial cost of your new printer is important to you. It is to us too, but

2. You should be aware that if you spend little on your printer, it invariably ends up costing many multiples of its initial printer cost for the ink, toner or ribbons used. We advise strongly against purchasing any printer on impulse. We recommend you to check the printer’s running costs in detail before purchase. This will help avoid a future shock when you have to renew cartridges and the frequency this is required.

3. It is easy to check your running costs on www.inkplus.ie from your PC, laptop, table or mobile device. Enter the printer model reference in our easy to use, quick search supplies WIZARD and you will get details of all the supplies that your printer uses along with detailed costs fast.

1. Welcome to our online store which opened in June 2013. Like all good websites it is still under development and having to keep pace of the constant stream of new printer and different cartridges means it always will be.
